BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidates will have a wide range of experience in the design & delivery of solutions to Building services projects & a proven ability to work on their own initiative. Our practice is particularly committed to sustainable design & the integration of low carbon solutions & we can offer significant opportunities to develop these skills.

Experience/Qualifications:

·         Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

·         Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience working in a professional practice. 

·         Good understanding of current building regulations, CIBSE and BS standards.

·         Excellent IT skills and MS Office experience. AutoCAD experience essential.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Main duties include surveying of services and generation of as-built and P&ID drawings. Other duties may include assisting Senior Engineers in generating design & tender drawings and specifications.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Cert/Dip in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required and must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of LPHW, HVAC, Chilled Water and Compressed Air plant & distribution systems is desireable.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

• Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work
